Cistaea – PDF pattern for a light and airy summer dress!
With our Cistaea pattern, you can sew your dream dress in many beautiful variations. A drawstring accentuates the waist, and darts in the bodice create a beautiful silhouette.
You can choose from six variations to create your personal dream dress:
- Skirt : a swinging tiered midi-length skirt and an elegant A-line skirt
- Sleeves : playful, wide puff sleeves and simple, set-in sleeves
- Neckline : round neck and V-neck

A PDF reader is required to open the PDF pattern.
The A4 pattern can be printed on a household printer and then glued together. It contains layers, so you can (but don't have to) select one or more sizes.
The DIN A0 pattern can be printed by a plotter, eliminating most of the gluing.
The pattern is a multi-size pattern and includes DE/EU sizes 32-58.
Cistaea is perfect for light, flowing woven fabrics. For hot weather and airy options, we recommend using lightweight cotton, cotton-linen blends, or silk-cotton blends such as batiste, voile, or crepe de chine. Lightweight poplin or chambray will add structure to the dress.
You will also need an iron-on interfacing for light woven fabrics.
