Hello,

How nice that you are here and want to know more about us!

Why we love what we do

We are a small start-up from Germany. We believe that clothes should adapt to the body. And that every body is wonderful and just right, exactly as it is. This conviction initially led our CEO, Nadine, to design and have clothes made for herself. She was often asked about her designs. At some point, sewing became a hobby. And finally, after many years, the idea arose to offer her own designs as sewing patterns.

Today, she is the CEO of naeyen and works with an experienced pattern director to transform design ideas into sewing patterns.

Wer steckt hinter naeyen

Quality you can rely on

We develop our patterns according to German industry standards – so you'll enjoy them for a long time. An experienced pattern director ensures that everything fits well and looks beautiful.

Before a pattern hits the shop, we test it thoroughly: first digitally in 3D, then on real people of various sizes. Only when we're satisfied with a pattern do we ask our test sewers to give it a try and share their experiences.

Every body is unique

We believe that clothing should fit the body—not the other way around. Sewing gives you the freedom to make clothes that truly fit you.

Our sewing examples show people of very different sizes and body shapes. Because diversity is important to us – every body is wonderful.

Sustainability

We make sure to work as environmentally friendly as possible:

We use digital technology to avoid fabric and paper waste.

We sew our sample pieces from sustainable materials and/or deadstock fabrics (i.e., from surplus fabric that would otherwise remain unused).

Our patterns are also available in projector format or as A0 plots – this saves paper and time when gluing them together.

By the way: Our website runs on green electricity because digital infrastructure also influences the climate.

Economic promotion

At naeyen, we want to empower women – both professionally and creatively. That's why we work with amazing female experts: editors, designers, lawyers, copywriters, tax consultants, and many more.
